Trained and experienced therapists will develop an individualized plan specific to your child’s needs. Strategies and tools to aid in process will be developed, discussed and modeled with parents for optimal results. Before moving on to next session, parents must demonstrate skill acquisition in performing current lesson requirements and obtain positive outcomes with the child.
Skills taught range from understanding functions of problem behaviours, giving effective instructions, reinforcing, use of various tools to manage behaviour, rewarding appropriate behaviours, and finally generalizing skill set to other problem behaviours and settings.
